New this season!

Who: Everyone trying out for Belusa Volleyball Club. That includes all returning members, new members or prospective members.

What: Everyone MUST pre-register themselves on-line with USAV before tryouts, at the earliest on September 1 or later. On September 1 or 2, we will have a link on our “News” button and on the “Try Outs” button. Either of these buttons will have the USAV website and information about how to complete this registration. Do not attempt to register with USAV before we have the link on our website. Remember you will need to register on or after September 1 but before your try-outs.

Why: If you played for Belusa in the past, you filled out a paper with us that registered you with USAV. Now USAV is requiring you to register on-line, before tryouts.

Cost: USAV price is $45 for this season. You have the option of paying $5 now, and the balance of $40 after you are accepted into Belusa Volleyball Club. If you were a member last year, you WILL be accepted back at Belusa. If you are a returning member, you can pay the entire $45 before tryouts, OR you can pay $5 and pay $40 yourself after tryouts on-line again. The advertised Belusa membership price this season has already been reduced $50 since in the past the USAV membership was an “included” price.

Further Information: Belusa membership does include AAU membership fee, which we need for the Nationals in Florida. USAV membership allows us to play in all tournaments and for insurance. Therefore, we need both memberships.

Note: You must register on-line with USAV before tryouts ($5 or more) in order to participate in tryouts, so that you will be covered by USAV insurance. Personal insurance CAN NOT be used instead of USAV registration. Everyone will be checked at tryouts to be sure that everyone has registered with USAV.
